About 13 blood types of dogs are known to exist. Blood type 1.1 and 1.2 are very important for blood transfusion. KABB BIO successfully developed the canine blood typing subdividing the DEA1 (Dog Erythrocyte Antigen) for the first time worldwide based on scientific fact that two different blood types (1.1 & 1.2) could not be present in the same red blood cell. The results of our 13-year research have been published in renowned international SCI level journals, thus proving our technology which is currently patent pending in Korea and abroad.
